NATALIA VALLEBONA

Her experiences help her opening the doors to a way of staging characterized by take of risk,mental/body state and the extreme availability of the performer's tools. She experimented a lot the floor, where she can mixed the power of breakdance and the fluidity of contemporary dance, finding her personal language based in the use of spiral.

She is passionate about creation since she was very young.
She begins to create Show HipHop with her first collective (Collettivo Fonique), but her interest moves progressively towards contemporary dance and physical theater as a mirror of contemporary society.

BIOGRAPHY

Natalia was born in Genoa, Italy.

Here she started to practice breakdance (Emilio -Battle Squad) and ballet and modern dance (Kaleido Danse Studio).

In 2005 she moved to Paris, where she continued her breakdance practice with Crew C2P (Battle Cosmos, Battle of Guyancourt, Different Roots on The Street, Selection Battle of the Year Lille 2009), and at the same time she collaborated with choreographer Thierry Verger ( 2006-2009).

In 2008 she began to follow  and studied the contemporary belgian current ( Ballet C de la B, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Ultima Vez, David Zambrano, Les Slovaks...)
In 2010 -2011 he returned to Genoa where he began her search between breakdance and contemporary dance, especially from the point of view of the transformation of pushing into spirals, expecially in the Floorwork Practice.

In 2012 she moved to Amsterdam to collaborate with Gabriella Maiorino in the creation Supernova.

Gabriella Maiorino was a precious guide regarding the performance act and the relationship between the performer and the audience.

In 2013 she moved to Brussels where she founded the Collective Poetic Punkers, a research group on the virtuosity of the movement set up for the construction of a stage character, and a dramaturgical content :

First Pilot Project - Beatrice - Co-production/ Residence in Volksroom and Atelier de l'Argonne, Brussels.

At the same time she colleborated as interpreter in differentes projects and creations like:

Dansand Festival with Quan Bui knoc, Off festival with Lisi Estaras and Nicolas Vadjislav; Let's Dance with Koen Augustjinen; Cie Trance-en-danse project Nos Terras...

In 2014 she obtained a creative residence in Parts, the school of Anne Terese de Keesmakers, where she started to create the Concept of After Party.

In 2015 she became an artist associated at the " Sign Six Workspace" (now Artist in Common), where she continuos her artistic practice in creation, experimentation and teaching:

Second Pilot Project: Rdv Tomorrow ( the first experimentation on the relationship dynamics within a group).

In the same year she got from CND Paris Pantin a co-production for the piece After Party .

In 2016 she met Michela Lucenti and she started to collaborate with her Company Balletto Civile (Italy) .

Since 2016 Natalia began to spread her research also in Italy.
In 2017 she has a co-production from Art Garage (Naples) for her

Third Pilot Project : "The Tourist of Sentiment" , a Biennal Project including: Où les fleures fanent; Amandoti; Borderline and a Video Project).
In the same year, the association "Les Choses qui Font Boom" (Paris) began to support her works.

Sice 2011 Natalia teaching Floorwork and contemporary dance in Belgium, Holland, France and Italy.
